I was born and groomed in China Hong Kong.  My passion in painting was ignited by my art teacher during my secondary study.  I was a graduate in engineering discipline and further study in master degree in Business Administration.  I have been working as a professional manager that steer my life to be pragmatic.  In my working environment, I made no contact with the world of art.  There was a turning point in 2007.  I decided to revisit my dream to study fine art. It re-opened my eyes to the "artistic" world, and ignited my passion to appreciate the beauty of visual art. I loved watercolor in early years in painting because its dynamic fluid nature attracted me so much. When I had the opportunity to paint in acrylic and oil mediums in 2010, I found them amazing on its colour intensity, thick texture and multi-layer surfacing brushes which provide excellent creative effect in my abstract painting.  Therefore, they become my major painting medium till today.

I believe that painting itself could highly reflect painter's personality. The painting process could help the painter to explore and understand oneself.  In nowadays world, I realize that painting is unreal to be a career for living.   However, I am pretty sure that painting can be a life-long enjoyment, and be one of the self-actualization means to explore my subconscious mind.  At least it allows a sense of freedom without boundary.  I have no idea what is my destination on painting throughout my life.  I hope I am able to continue my creation till the end of my life, and make peanut contribution to the ocean of visual art.

I joined different exhibitions in local Hong Kong.  It is one of the platform to share my artwork physically with others.  Social medium channel for painting sharing is also indispensable in nowadays internet era.   There are billion artwork sharing platforms in internet world, but most of them are only built for causal surfing purpose.   I try to build my own website here aims at sharing my artworks, facilitating a channel for sale, and most importantly to record my art journey along my life. 

Physical exhibition is the best choice to keep in touch with appreciators and shows the details of artwork in front of viewers. 

Apart from painting, I started writing blog during the pandemic period in Hong Kong.    Although my writing skill is under developing and need to be polished, I love writing because it helps to share my thoughts in literary form and sometimes express my feeling more precisely.    The blog shares my thoughts after book reading and profound world events.   You are welcome to visit my blog and give me feedback in below hyperlink.
